Author Visit – Guy Bass

We were really really lucky to be visited by award-winning author Guy Bass this morning.

Guy is an award-winning author, whose children’s books series include Stitch Head, Spynosaur The Legend of Frog, Dinkin Dings and Atomic! In 2010 Dinkin Dings and the Frightening Things won the Blue Peter Award for Most Fun Book with Pictures.

Guy’s has also written plays for both adults and children. He has previously been a theatre producer, illustrator, temp, gerbil whisperer and has acted his way out of several paper bags. Guy’s work has been translated into more than ten languages.

Science to Get Your Teeth into

This term in science we are learning about the digestive system and the functions each part has to play. This week was all about the teeth, the different types of teeth we have and how the type of teeth differs for different animals; for those that eat plants and those those that eat meat.
